A mental illness, by nature, forces its sufferer into an involuntary self-absorption. Having a mental disorder, especially a mood disorder, makes you selfish without knowing why. Empathy becomes an insurmountable challenge when you’re so lost in your own anguish that you’re incapable of comprehending anyone else’s pain.

Today I got tattooed for 10 hours straight (with only 2 10-minute bathroom breaks), which is the longest I’ve ever sat for. It’s actually twice as long as my previous record of 5 hours. Thea Duskin is a BEAST. The back of my thigh is finally finally finished! I’ll post pictures soon for sure. :)

Had a kid come in a week ago and left a $20 drawing deposit for a drawing of a demon. Got the info from him. Drew the demon, and he came into look at it. He liked it, minus a few minute changes, so I told him I would have it ready for the next day.
Next day, he doesn’t show up.
Today, four days later he comes in saying, “Yea I’m not feeling it can I have my deposit back?”
...
Customer 1: “Where can I get a tattoo that won’t hurt?”
Customer 2: “ON SOMEBODY ELSE!”
